Shadan Degree College for Boys was established in the year 1991  with specific courses in the field of Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Commerce, Microbiology, Chemistry, Bio-Technology and Zoology. In course of time the college has developed into one of the leading educational institutions of the twin cities with an increasing demand for varied courses both from parents and students. At present the college offers various combinations and courses in Physical & Life Sciences and Commerce (with Computers, Foreign Trade, Advertising, Sales Promotion, Sales Management, General) streams to accommodate the increasing demand of ever changing needs of our Modern complex society. Since its inception, the college has given 100% excellent result with several students scoring centums in courses like Mathematics, Electronics, Statistics, Commerce, Chemistry, Physics with compulsory computer subjects, Microbiology & Zoology. The first batch of its final year students appeared in the year 1994 and since then 14 batches have passed out and there is no looking back.

Shadan Degree College for Boys was set up to cater to the educational needs of boys at under graduate level (U.G). During its inception, seventeen years ago it had just about 150 students on its roll, but with passing of time its reputation has increased tremendously and it is now regarded as one of the most sought after college and already has 2000 students as of now with ever increasing demand every year for the following courses.
