Apart from academics, the college encourages the students to participate in Indoor / Outdoor games. Equipments and provisions are provided to the students and regular competitions are held in the college and also the students are encouraged to participate in various Inter Collegiate events which has brought many laurels. Besides, importance is also given for the conduct of literary and cultural events in which the students have repeatedly shown their caliber.
- The college was selected to take part in the first National Youth Employment Summit held in Hyderabad
in which 44 countries participated, and out of 103 colleges which took part in the cultural activities our college bagged 1st prize which was awarded by the then Chief Minister N. Chandra Babu Naidu.
- 60 of our students were selected as volunteers in the Afro Asian Games 2003 held in the city and out of which 8 students were declared as best volunteers and were duly honoured by the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. N. Chandra Babu Naidu.
- About 500 boys of our college also participated in Hyderabad 10 K Run
which was a charity Run meant to bring awareness among the citizens for health and environment under the able leadership of then Chief Minister Mr. N. Chandra Babu Naidu and present Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr. Y.S. Raja Sekhar Reddy.
- n The State Co-operative Society had also extended an invitation for our students to participate in Essay Writing and Elocution Competitions held on the eve of completion of 100 years of State Co-operative Movement in Andhra Pradesh and the college bagged the 1st Prize.
It has been a long march for the college to reach its present position of glory and this achievement has been only possible through hardwork, perseverance and collective efforts of the Management, Principal, Staff & Students. The college has been instrumental in bringing out the inherent talent of the students. The college encourages a healthy, secular, competitive spirit which would go a long way in making the student a practical individual capable of contributing to a just and liberal society.
